Absolutely love our yearly day out here I cannot praise Newbridge House & Farm enough, they are an amazing group of people. I love the farm and take a number of families yearly. The food in Brambles is great and Thomaz is fantastic, what a great ambassador for Brambles. A big thank you to Shirley, she goes above and beyond, a wonderful staff member. Thanks a million.

Fabulous place to visit. This place is a hidden gem. I went there on a cold February day and was blown away so I can only imagine what it's like on a bright summer day. Pity is not well known outside of Dublin as its well worth a visit. The farm and variety of animals and birds is fabulous . Then there's the house itself. Beautifully furnished and preserved by Fingal Co.Council. Very well explained by our guide, the lively Polly. Go there and take the kids. A great day out. 30 mins from Connolly Station.

Sensory Santa Experience This has been our second year in a row to the Sensory Santa experience and I didn’t think it could get more magical but it has. Santa, Mrs Claus & the elves were absolutely amazing and the whole experience from start to finish was nothing short of magical! Couldn’t recommend enough!

Interesting house and its history-check out the Grandfather clock! Great informative tour that lasted over an hour,very interesting house still occupied by the owners at times- the living ones,so apparently the house is not haunted yet-this might be the only disappointment for some;)

Family day out Great day out with family lovely walk around the farm plenty to keep both kids and adults entertained the kids had great fun talking to the turkeys who obliged by returning with a gobble gobble had them in stitches great walled garden with apple trees and then we had a picnic with some food,coffee and ice cream in the ground in front of the house and after our picnic we went to the playground 🛝 and had a great time with plenty to occupy the kids for ages .

A great visit to Newbridge House On a short trip to Dublin I journeyed out to Newbridge (really straight forward by public transport: train from Connolly to Donabate -2 stops on a Drogheda service- 25 minutes) to see what (in my opinion) is a fairly unique survivor in Ireland - an historic house with its contents still largely in situ surrounded by its demesne (parkland). The tour round the interior (led by Emma & assisted by Emily) was highly informative and they gave an interesting account of the development of property and the lives lived by the family and support staff over the centuries. For anyone interested in Irish social history with a fondness for period interiors Newbridge is a "must see" and its a credit to Fingal County Council, their curatorial staff and the Cobbe family. The grounds were great; as I was leaving families were arriving to see the farm and walled gardens before having lunch/coffee break in the nicely situated cafe by the house.

Excellent tour! my husband and I were the only ones for the first tour of the morning, and so we got to experience a personal tour! Our tour guide, Michael, was excellent and really knew his history - of the house, of the family, of Dublin. I wish we could've spent even MORE time there!I just can't say enough about the nice people there, especially Michael - if you go, ask for him!! 🙂 It is a little outside of Dublin, so we found a driver. Also, we has a Go City pass and it took us a couple of minutes to get it explained and for them to find the right 'scan' but was not a big deal at all. Excellent tour!
