About the Role: Are you a storyteller with a passion for history and a flair for customer service? Newbridge House and Farm is looking for a versatile and energetic Tour Guide to join our team.
This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You will be the face of the estate, transitioning between sharing the grand stories of our Georgian interiors and ensuring our visitors have a seamless experience at admissions and in our retail shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guiding: Delivering engaging, historically accurate tours of the House, including the opulent state rooms and the Servants’ Quarters.
- Admissions: Welcoming visitors, managing bookings, and providing information about the farm and parklands.
- Retail: Managing our gift shop, assisting customers, and maintaining displays when/if needed
The Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent public speaking and storytelling skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment (moving from tours to retail/admissions).
- Flexible availability for a rolling roster (essential for weekend coverage).
- A friendly, “can-do” attitude and a passion for Irish heritage.
